Jeff Boyd is the author of the novels The Weight and Hard Times. He has taught creative writing at the University of Iowa, Johns Hopkins, and Pratt Institute. A graduate of the Iowa Writers’ Workshop and a former public school teacher, he lives in New York with his family.
